Laz A. Mataz is my pen name. I grew up in Upstate New York, and moved to a small town Atlanta, Georgia. As a child, I voraciously read every science fiction novel or short story I could get my hands on. My favorite authors are Isaac Asimov, Larry Niven, and Robert Heinlein, among others. I'm a Development Technical Lead specializing in the Microsoft stack (C# and T-SQL) for a Fortune 50 company. I like to recreationally shoot, have a wonderful live-in girlfriend, and we care for three delightful cats.
